Living along the Southern California coast has its perks. Of the many advantages, having a beach wedding is on top of the list. If you decide to have a beach wedding or a beach themed wedding, you can incorporate a lot of “beach” ideas into your wedding.

First, decide what kind of invitation you like. It used to be that wedding invitations were always very traditional in their color and appearance. Today, wedding invitations come in a vast array of exciting colors, styles and themes to reflect the modern wedding couples.

Whether you are sending your save the date, rehearsal dinner invitation or your wedding invite, it is a good start is to pick a theme and follow it throughout your wedding day. Invitations can be custom designed. Order from a tradition book or have a unique invitation design that includes hand calligraphy. The wedding invitation is the ultimate scene setter and speaks volumes about the type of event you are hosting.

Event Designers and wedding planners are great resources for invitation and décor ideas. They have experience and have seen many styles of invitations, so you might want to ask their advice.

Happy Planning
