Feeling a bit frazzled during your wedding planning? With all the planning, parties and organizing for your wedding day, you’re likely to have days where you feel a bit stressed and overwhelmed. Add the extra help from your bridesmaids and their own organizing to get you ready for your day and they are likely to be feeling about the same too.

So, how about a day of relaxation? A current trend in today’s bachelorette parties is the idea of a spa day for you and your friends. There are ways to create a spa day that works with you and your budget.

If you have an ample budget, plan a day at a day spa where you and your party can arrange to have a massage, mani/pedi or facial. Feel free to combine services too! Many places can accommodate larger parties and include lunches, champagne and drinks for you to enjoy.

On a smaller budget? Have the services come to you. Many local massage and aesthetician schools can provide services for you and your party from your own home at a fraction of the cost. Remember, the goal of the bachelorette party is to unwind and enjoy your time with your friends before your big day.

With all the stress of planning a wedding, a day of spa treatments before the event can be the perfect recipe for relaxation and beauty. You may want a day entirely to yourself to decompress, or you might want to spend the time bonding with your bridesmaids and female family members.

You can visit a day spa in your area—ask about bridal packages and be sure they can accommodate the whole group—or have a spa party in your home; many vendors will come to you. (Note: make sure to schedule any facial treatments several days before your wedding, just in case you have an adverse reaction.)

And remember—your groom will also be on display at your wedding, so why not schedule a spa treatment for him, too? A massage, facial, manicure and pedicure can be just the pampering he needs for your big day.
