You’ve got an engagement ring, the invitations, the dress and everything else in place. You’re counting down to the moment you both say “I do,” and one detail left on your plate is the rehearsal dinner. If you’re sticking with tradition and are having your honey’s family take care of the details, congrats! All you have to do now is show up!

Traditionally, the groom’s parents host the rehearsal dinner on the night before the wedding, so most of the planning and organization is left up to them. However, if you both decide to host the rehearsal dinner on your own, be sure to express those feelings to your future in-laws to avoid starting off on the wrong foot.
