Throwing the Bridal Bouquet
Author: Marisilda Garcia
You’re big day has arrived…again. If you’re getting married for the 2nd time, chances are, you may not want to throw the bouquet for a number of reasons. Perhaps most of your friends are now married or your single friends don’t want to be “singled” out. Whatever the reason, there are other options for your bouquet.

A trend in 2nd weddings for the bridal bouquet is to gift parts of your bouquet to special people in your family. You can separate the stems from your bouquet with a note attached to those special people in your life. When it’s traditionally time to “throw” your bouquet, you can take the stage; say a few words and present pieces of your bouquet to your friends and family. If you have children, you can divide your bouquet up for your children…dried flowers can make a great gift for your children to hold onto.
Whether you decide to keep your bouquet or gift it to those around you, it’s your day…you can keep a tradition or make your own that will last a lifetime.
Happy Planning!
