Fall Winter Make Up

While most people think of Spring and Summer when it comes to weddings, some of my favorite weddings have taken place in the Fall and Winter seasons. Think wineries, historic buildings, orchards, and fields of gold. Seasonal wedding makeup can be stunning if done right.

When I think of Fall, I see warm colors of gold, copper, burgundy, and deep browns. When these colors get transferred to a makeup palette the result is beautiful. Using a hint of a warm blush combined with these colors on the eyes and a deep burgundy or wine colored lip will make any Fall bride stand out.

Winter wedding makeup is also unique because of the season. Think crisp, clean, refreshing shades of silver, blue, and gray. Whether the wedding is taking place in the mountains or in a church, the atmosphere is one of simple beauty and elegance. A subtle blush, resembling that of rosy cheeks from the cold, blended with a smokey gray eye that is highlighted with a shimmer of silver or white will make the Winter bride feel like a true Ice Princess.
