Is Makeup a Desire or an Addiction?

In a recent poll of my clients, 8 out of 10 women would rather forget to put on their jewelry than leave the house without mascara or lipstick. This leaves me wondering what makes women so dependent on makeup. Clients are always asking me to make their eyes really “pop” and to use false eyelashes on their wedding day. Even clients who normally do not wear makeup on a regular basis request a natural looking makeup for the big day. These women still want to look like themselves, but insist on wearing makeup as they walk down the aisle.

Those that wear makeup want more and those that do not wear makeup want more. Are these women addicted to the glamour of makeup or to the desire to fit into the hype of wedding day hair and makeup? Makeup should enhance your natural beauty. Wearing makeup on your wedding day makes you feel more confident and more beautiful, but always ask yourself this; Is makeup a desire or an addiction?
