Finding the Perfect Wedding Invitation

Invitations are an easily overlooked aspect in the planning of a wedding.  With the venue choices, flowers, cakes and all the other minute details that tie together a beautiful day, the invitation often gets lost in the shuffle.   A sad fact, being that the printed wedding invitation dates back to before the Middle Ages when nobility would commission monks to handcraft their notices which often carried a coat of arms with a wax seal.  While a coat of arms is seldom seen in the new millennium, so is a special invitation.

During the Wedding Season, invitations fill mailboxes and have a tendency to blend together.  While there are different fonts and colors, they all seem to look somewhat the same.  As a bride to be, you are constantly looking for special touches and ways to set your event apart.  Start with your invitation.  They are a cornerstone of your wedding as they are the first official announcement of your special day.  They inform your guests of the basics but also set the tone of what your guests can expect at your wedding.  Guests will make travel arrangements, purchases and even pick out clothing based off your invitation.
