An oceanfront wedding can take place anywhere from a remote tropical isle to your local beach. It may include just the ceremony or just the reception, or both together, and the location can even double as your honeymoon destination.

Beach venue options range from an intimate, ocean-side boutique hotel, to a high-end beach resort, to a casual ceremony on a public beach with your closest family and friends (in that case, passers-by are part of the fun). If you opt for a beach wedding, try carrying the theme through the reception with seashell decorations and local seafood.
