Head Table Decorations

Ever been to a wedding reception where you couldn’t tell where the bride and groom’s table was located? Rarely do you ever see a head table decorated like all the others in the room. What makes it different? How can you personalize your head table on your special day?

The long and short of it: Decide whether you want a table for you and your new husband or if you prefer a long table for you both and your wedding party. Once you decide what size table you’d like, then you can move into the shape of the table. If it’s just the two of you, an oval table creates a more intimate setting than a square one. U shape tables can also be used for larger wedding parties because they encourage mingling within your wedding party, although the long rectangular table works well too.

Your centerpiece and chairs should be an upgraded version of the rest of the room. To do this, you can use larger bouquets of flowers, a larger centerpiece or an added pop of color to your table. Personalizing your chairs is a great option that gives you another keepsake from your wedding day.

Long or short, small or large; your head table should be another way of showcasing your personal touch and style to the evening.

Happy Planning!
